For her third birthday, her mom wanted to gift her a bright, colorful big girl’s room to mark the milestone from crib to bed. We opted for budget-friendly furniture and stayed within our clean and bright aesthetic while still aiming to please our very pink-loving three-year-old.
We created a room where 6- and 2-year-old brothers could sleep and play together. We went with neutral, masculine colors that will grow with them, while adding playful touches like nods to Star Wars and a painted spotlight illusion from their ceiling flush mount.
Floral designer Wury Glende of Graceful Garland Co. enlisted our help to transform her dark, cluttered playroom into a bright, modern space that appealed to her clean aesthetic. As a mom of three young children, she needed a place where her children could play, but where their toys could be hidden and stored away when not in use. We updated her space with bright whites, warm woods, metallic tones, and lots of greenery and florals.
We had a tight timeline to turn a dark, outdated kitchen into a modern, family-friendly space that could function as the hub of the home. We enlarged the footprint of the kitchen by changing the orientation and adding an island for better circulation. We swapped out old tile flooring for durable vinyl tiles, dark wood panels for fresh drywall, outdated cabinets with modern Semihandmade ones, and added brand new appliances. We made it modern and warm by adding matte tiles from Heath, new light fixtures, and an open shelf of beautiful ceramics in cool neutrals.
A young expecting couple wanted to transform their neglected storage room into a warm and inviting nursery for their baby girl. They wanted it to be relatively neutral so it could work for future children, but we added feminine accents through accessories and styling.
This single family home came with a recently updated kitchen, but a cramped living space and obtrusive fireplace. We kept the furniture simple and clean with a Scandinavian bent, changed out kitchen pendants and stools to make it more modern, and transformed the adjacent room to a bright home office.
Having moved from a smaller home into a much larger space, my clients needed help picking out finishes like flooring, paint colors and lighting. We then went on to furnish and accessorize all their main living spaces and bedrooms in a style that was both modern yet timeless. We sourced from a wide spectrum of big box retailers all the way down to independent local artists to create a layered home that represented my clients and their style. We are so proud of the haven we’ve created!
